Ang Keng Lam

Founding Chairman

Mr Ang is the Founding Chairman of Metropoly. He has over 30 years of real estate investment, management and corporate advisory experience in Asia, especially in high-end logistics and real estate in China.

Mr Ang is previously Chairman of the China World Trade Center Co., Ltd, Kerry Properties Limited and Kerry Logistics Network Limited; as well as Vice-Chairman of Beijing Properties (Holdings) Limited. As a senior executive at the Kuok Group from 1976, he was responsible for the planning and development of many of its projects during his tenure, including the Heng Fa Chuen residential estate in Hong Kong and the China World Trade Center in Beijing. He was also responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Group's warehouse and logistics division.

From 2005 to 2006, he was a Non-executive Director of Eagle Asset Management (CP) Limited, the manager of Champion Real Estate Investment Trust in Hong Kong.

In public service, Mr Ang was a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference from 1998 to 2013.

He has a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Western Australia, and a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Toronto. Mr Ang also completed the International Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School in 1998.
